GUIDE
A Practical Guide to Music Studio Pro: How to Create Music with AI
Learn to master our console step by step. From writing your first text prompt to the final mix of the separated tracks.
1
How to generate your first AI backing track
Mastering text prompts and choosing the musical genre
The starting point. Choose genre, mood, BPM, key, duration, energy and atmosphere with the sliders. You can add an artist reference and director's notes to guide the style. Turn on "Instrumental" if you don't want vocals.
2
How to write the lyrics yourself or let the AI write them
Write the lyrics yourself, section by section (Intro, Verse, Chorus, etc.), or let the AI write them in the language you choose. Either way, they stay editable by hand before generating the audio. Already wrote something but stuck on how to continue? Use "Continue from here" (Continuation Engine): the AI reads your lyrics and proposes three different ways to continue in your own style, instead of starting over.
3
How to use AI Studio for concepts, titles and advanced prompts
Support tools: generate ideas/concepts, a production breakdown, a title, or write an advanced manual prompt (in English) that goes at the top of the style sent to the AI engine, for finer control.
4
How to generate the song and compare multiple takes
The main button at the top. Every generation produces multiple takes (versions) of the track, not just one: you'll find them all in the "Tracks" tab, none are lost.
5
How to pick your favourite take among the generated versions
Among the generated takes, star the one you prefer: it stays highlighted so you can find it quickly when there are many.
6
How to edit just one section without regenerating the song
Only one part isn't convincing (e.g. the chorus)? On every track you'll find "Edit a section": pick the range (10-60 seconds) on a draggable timeline, describe what you want changed, and only that gets regenerated — the rest of the track stays identical. Creates a new take, the original is never lost.
7
How to record a vocal overdub (overdubbing)
Connecting the microphone and syncing a real voice to the AI track
Record from your microphone or upload an audio file (vocals, guitar, any instrument) to overdub on top of the AI-generated track. You can add multiple layers, adjust volume and panning for each, and mix them all together into a single final file.
8
How to build an AI voice persona consistent across tracks
If you're building multiple tracks meant to sound like a single "artist", turn a track you like into a Persona ("Voice" button on the track): subsequent generations in the same project will use the same voice, staying consistent instead of sounding like a different singer every time.
9
How to turn a hummed melody into a finished track
Got a melody in your head but can't play it or describe it in words? In the Project tab, record (or upload) yourself humming or whistling the idea, choose how closely the AI should stick to the original, and generate a full track from it.
10
How to download the stems and isolate tracks for your DAW
Track isolation and export techniques for your DAW
From any generated track you can: download the MP3 or convert it to WAV (uncompressed audio), separate vocals/instrumental into 2 tracks, or get the full stems (up to 12 isolated tracks: vocals, drums, bass, synth, etc.) ready for your DAW.
11
How to equalize the track with the 31-band equalizer
The "Equalize" button on every track opens a panel with 31 faders on standard ISO frequencies (20Hz-20kHz) and a live meter that shows each band's energy in real time during preview. "Auto-balance" analyzes the spectrum and suggests starting levels. The equalized track downloads as MP3 or WAV, free even on the Free plan: all processing happens in the browser, no tokens spent.
12
How to export a ready-made Ableton Live (.als) project
After separating the stems, the "Export for Ableton" button downloads a ready-to-open .als project: every track already imported, named and colored, no manual dragging required.
13
How to export the chords as MIDI and the tech sheet as PDF
"MIDI" exports the calculated chord progression for the track. "Spec sheet" generates a PDF with all production parameters, ready to share with whoever's mixing.
Not sure where to start with genre, mood, and director's notes?

Plans and limits
The Free plan has a maximum number of audio generations per month. Base and Studio plans instead use a shared token pool: every action (generation, stems, precise editing, Ableton export and more) consumes a token amount proportional to its real cost. Your balance is always visible in Studio's top bar ( tokens), and the full plan details are on the pricing page.
