What is AI music generation
In the past couple of years, several tools have emerged that let you generate music with AI: describe an idea in words (genre, mood, lyrics) and get a complete track, vocals included, in seconds. It's a huge shift for anyone who wants to sketch ideas fast — but almost all of these tools stop at the same point: they hand you an MP3 file, and that's it. If the chorus isn't quite right, if you want to sing over it yourself, if you need the instrumental separated from the vocals for the mix — you're on your own from there.
Music Studio Pro was built to solve exactly that: it's not just a generator, it's a real production console that starts with AI but doesn't stop there.
How it works, in 3 steps
- Describe the track — genre, mood, BPM, key, an artist reference, and director's notes. A few fields are enough, or hum or whistle the melody you have in your head and let the AI turn it into a full track.
- Write it yourself or let the AI do it — write the lyrics yourself, section by section, or generate them with AI. If you've already written something but you're stuck, the Continuation Engine reads where you left off and suggests how to continue in your own style, instead of starting from scratch.
- Refine and export — generate the track, listen to the takes, and if something isn't landing, regenerate just that section (6-60 seconds) instead of redoing the whole thing. Overdub real vocals or instruments with the Overlay Recorder, split stems into up to 12 tracks, and export everything: MP3, WAV, a ready-to-open Ableton Live project, a PDF spec sheet, and MIDI chords.
What sets it apart from "one prompt, one file" generators
- Targeted editing — no other tool lets you regenerate just a 6-60 second section while keeping the rest of the track untouched.
- Hum your idea — can't play an instrument or describe a melody in words? Record yourself humming or whistling it: the AI turns it into a real track.
- Overlay Recorder — record or upload real vocals and instruments over the AI base, with independent volume and pan per layer: from AI base to hybrid production.
- Stems and Ableton export — split vocals, drums, bass, synths and more, or download a ready-made .als project with tracks already imported and colored.

Who it's for
Music Studio Pro is built for people who want to finish a track, not just listen to a draft: songwriters who want an accompaniment to build on, producers who need stems for the mix, content creators who need something ready to deliver, and anyone with an idea in their head but not the tools (or the time) to build it from scratch.
No technical skill is needed to get started: the full guide walks you through everything from your first generation to the final export, and the prompt examples page offers ready-to-copy combinations for beginners.
Try it for free
The Free plan includes 2 saved projects and 5 audio generations per month, no credit card required. For more consistent production, there are the Pro and Studio plans, with a monthly token pool shared across generation and every premium feature — you pay in proportion to what you actually use, not a flat subscription disconnected from real costs.
